Justice

  • Recipient of the 2023 Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation Friend of Labor Award
  • The Columbia County Sanctuary Movement recognized my effective advocacy for immigrants and named me a 5th Anniversary Honoree
  • Work on rural-focused pro-democracy campaigns around the country
  • Led voting rights campaign overturning a ban on student voting
  • Fought for LGBTQ rights, criminal justice reform, and international human rights
  • Endorsed by Upper Hudson Central Labor Council and 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers (2023)

Education

  • Worked in higher education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Bard College at Simon’s Rock
  • Taught video and media production to high school and middle school age youth
  • MA in Media Studies and BA in Philosophy and Gender Studies

Public Parks and Environment

  • Worked locally to increase public parks, farmland, and better land use policy
  • Worked on national campaigns to protect public health and reduce toxic waste and pollution
