I supported contracting with Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood to provide youth services

Columbia County recently started supporting Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood to provide youth services and better positives opportunities for residents. The afterschool bus has demonstrated how investing in youth leads to positive outcomes. Yet we’ve also seen continued gaps in service. With support from Columbia County, Promise Neighborhoods will leverage its trusted relationships to provide preventative services and professional development as well as coordinate transportation services and analyze impact. This new program utilized previously unused federal prevention funds.
